How To Get Unova Stones In Pokemon GO
Similar to how certain generation 4 Pokemon require a Sinnoh Stone to evolve in Pokemon GO, some of the generation 5 Pokemon will require a Unova Stone in order to fully evolve. Unlike Sinnoh Stones though, the only way to obtain Unova Stones is by completing and claiming the weekly Research Breakthrough and through Team Rocket Leader battles! Yup, that's it. Just complete your daily tasks and hope that you receive a Unova Stone as one of your weekly rewards.
- Breakthrough Research - You have 1 chance a week to obtain a Unova Stone while collecting your Weekly Research Breakthrough rewards.
- Battle Team Rocket Leaders - You have a chance to obtain up to 2 Unova Stones from battling the Team Rocket Leaders.
